After that we went to lunch together as a department to celebrate the shipping of products we've all been working on. We ate at the Baby Moon Cafe in Morrisville. It was great fun, and I really got to know two of the guys in the department that I didn't know very well before. The funniest thing was right at the end when someone said something sort of risque, and I started waiving my arms saying, "Warning Will Robinson; Warning Will Robinson." Susanne retorted, "I LOVED that show as a kid. I had the biggest crush on Will!" And I said, "I did TOO!" Everybody cracked up.
We got "sent home" from the luncheon (around 1:00), so I enjoyed a nice afternoon off. Robert came over right after work, and we went to Steve's Pampered Chef party. It was a lot of fun. There were tons of folks there, including Steve's totally hot, straight neighbor.
The woman who did the demo was on the loud side, started off grating on my nerves, but by the end, I ended up liking her enough to buy $200 worth of Pampered Chef products. :-) Actually I bought it for two reasons: 1) I liked the products, and 2) I completed about 75% of my Christmas shopping. I am so not a shopper.
