Lunch w/Kevin@MoJoe's, guest room closet-cleaning, and The Last Mistress...

I slept in this morning, getting up at around 10:30. When I turned on my cell phone, I had a message from Kevin (av8rdude) about meeting him for lunch at around 1:00 or 1:30 after his soccer game refereeing.


We had said lunch a MoJoe's Burger Joint, where he had a Club Sandwich, I had their BBQ Sandwich, and we split a large order of fries. Afterwards, we walked down to Helios, where we each had a Single Iced Skinny Caramella Sugar Free. Woohoo.

I spent a good chunk of the day organizing my guest bedroom closet for two reasons: (1) It's something I've been meaning to do since January, as my "holiday trunk" has been sitting at the foot of the bed instead of back in the closet where it belongs since then, and (2) In anticipation of Kevin being my house guest for the month of August.


I went to the 9:30 screening of The Last Mistress at the Galaxy Theater.

Movie synopsis: Secrets, rumors and betrayals surround the upcoming marriage between a young dissolute man and virtuous woman of the French aristocracy.

This film, in some ways, reminded me of Jean de Florette and its sequel, Manon des source.

The sex scenes in this film were on the verge of pornographic, but unfortunately the totally nudity favored straight men and Lesbians. The leading man, who had an incredible body, managed to avoid a full frontal shot.

That aside (seriously!), I loved this film. Very dark. No "Hollywood ending" here!
