I was having another most incredible dream this morning when I woke up. So elaborate. Strange, these dreams, these last couple of days. Wonder what's causing them. Lots on my mind? Fevers in the night? Tylenol in my system? Who knows. I met Kevin (av8rdude Before departing we agreed to meet at Planet Fitness at noon, with our laptops with us to head to Helios afterwards for the afternoon. |
At first I intended to do my lower body work today and crunches, but in the end decided to forgo the crunches for some cardio.

I met Kevin at Helios at about quarter-to-two, where he worked and I didn't. It was one of my days off after all. I spent some of the time there reading stories, the likes of these:
Randy Pausch died today. You might not recognize his name, but you may have listened to his "last lecture" on the Web. He knew he was dying from Pancreatic Cancer and delivered a compelling last lecture called, "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams." The C-M announcement is here. Watch/listen to his entire lecture here. [It's an hour and sixteen minutes long.] See the clip here of where he sings to his wife in the middle of the lecture. [Tissue alert!] |
A CNN Headlines story: Boy 5, leaves day care; goes to Hooters. |
I picked up Robert at his place, and we had dinner on Ninth Street at International Delights. I think I got the wrong meal, but it was delicious anyway.
I'd have to agree with one of the reviewers at the link above, "EVERY TIME I ENTER INTERNATIONAL DELIGHTS I ALWAYS LEAVE PLEASED! THEY HAVE THE BEST FOOD!" [Of course, I would do it with the CAPS OFF. and I would add a comma after the word "Delights."]
We saw, and loved, Katja's highly-acclaimed one-woman show, Cornucopia of ME at Manbites Dog Theater at 8:15.
