Finch's with Myra, corpse ties, good week / bad week, exercising, and dancing...

I picked up Myra at CECE, and drove us down to Finch's for breakfast. Of course, we sat in "Ann's section," and of course she started off with, "How ya doin', baby?"

I thought like a fat person and had their sausage and cheddar omelet, which came with hash browns and toast. At least I recognized that I was thinking like a fat person.

After breakfast, I dropped off Myra back at CECE, and then went to Helios for the morning, where I waited to hear from Kevin (av8rdude) about gym time for today.

When I was 5 or so my mom would tell me to lie down before she tied my tie and I just now realized at the age of 19 that she did this because she's a funeral director.

Good week for...Bad week for...
Zach Dunlap of Oklahoma, who was declared brain-dead after an accident, but then began moving his foot and hand as doctors prepared to harvest his organs. The 21-year-old slowly regained consciousness and was sent home to continue his recovery. "I feel pretty good," he said this week.Spiritual monopolies, after the Provenance Hotel chain replaced its beside Bibles with a "spiritual menu" from which guests can order either the Judeo-Christian text, the Book of Mormon, the Koran, or books on Scientology, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Taoism.

I met Kevin (av8rdude) at the gym at 4:15, where today I worked on my lower body—doing maximum reps (15) and maximum sets (5), as I was not intending to do cardio since it's a dance night tonight.

However, when it was all said and done, I said to Kevin, "Why don't we do just 20 minutes of cardio?" I thought I could talk him into it because of this. We did.

I am very pleased with my ability to do crunches now. I remember the first time I did them, I could hardly lift my body up—and I mean at all—and certainly couldn't get through four sets of twelve reps. Today I did five sets of 15 reps, and I'm not going to say it was without a real struggle in that last set, but I can do them.  Yay me!

Tonight, I had that Southwest Pepper Jack Style Soup I bought a while ago, which I've never had before, and I was shocked at how spicy it was. I loved it though, as I love spicy food.

I also had two Blackened Cajun Fish Fillets grilled (originally) and then baked (to heat up). Love those, too.

Dancing was decent enough tonight. I tired to learn Buttons from a review, which was nearly impossible. I just hung in there, though, and picked up what I could as it went along.

Rick was trying out some new "tight-fittin' jeans" that he bought for his Amsterdam trip. Looked good. He leaves tomorrow; that's exciting.  I wished him a bon voyage before leaving, and he did the same to me for the Stomp and my cruise. I'm going to be gone before he gets back.
