Introducing... cowboys at Oasis!

We woke up and MMMMMMMMed, and then had a great omelet breakfast! Robert cooked, and it was yummy!

He spent some time job-hunting online, while I finished going through the closet in the guest bedroom. Later, he helped me around the house, breaking up boxes and putting stuff out at the trash.

We looked for an excuse to go out, and thought about running to Sears to see if they have a replacement filter for my dryer. We eventually decided against it.

After while, we MMMMMMMMed (on the hallway stairs!), and then ate the rest of the taco stuff for lunch.

We decided on a movie, rather late, and left at about 4:45 for a 5:15 movie at Crossroads 20. We ended up there in plenty of time, and saw Adaptation with Nicholas Cage, Nicholas Cage (playing twin brothers), and Meryl Streep. It was alright, but overall I was disappointed. It was a little Woody-Allenish, and the write-up I'd read about the parts Nicholas Cage played did not at all live up to the reading, in my opinion.

We left for dancing at Oasis at 8:30. We arrived at about 10 till, and they didn't open the doors until 9:00. We talked to some guys in the lobby, who were there for, and seemed excited about, the two-stepping and line-dancing lessons. So, that was cool.

As it turned out, there was a great crowd! Lots of folks took lessons, and overall it looks like they have a hit on their hands. I hope it continues to get more and more popular. The temporary dance floor they have down will do, but it won't last long, and a new, wood one is definitely needed. I hope there's enough interest for them to make the investment.

I danced with lots of folks, several of whom I just. I loved the dance I had with "Lisa." We started with me leading and her following (how hetero!), but quickly both admitted that we each preferred the other part. So we switched. That's beautiful.

Steve, Joe, and Will were there, too, which was fun. Steve brought a whole crowd with him, including a straight girl, Debbie. Robert felt much more comfortable taking the lessons there (as opposed to Flex), and he had a good time, too. It was a fun, fun night.

I binged when I got home, but with the points burned from dancing, I still ended up in my "range" for the day. We tried those "Stuffed Olives" from Sam's and they were the deal!

We went to bed at around two, and MMMMMMMMed until about 3.
