Class, cooking out, and The Lion King...

This morning, I worked on my final paper proposal for COM598, which was quite difficult since my project partner and I haven't decided on one of the three topics we're still considering. I just wrote something up based on the project I've suggested, as it's the only one I know enough about to write a thesis statement and research question about.

I took the bus to class, and arrived early enough to login for a few minutes on one of the computers in the English Computer Lab.

Class was interesting today. Sometimes I get the feeling my professor is thinking, "What in the hell are you talking about," when I'm relating something to the class.

Today's topics were interesting, and the discussions around them compelling.

When it came time to discuss our final project, I just looked at Ruffin and let him speak. Which he did. Eloquently, as usual.

Robert picked me up at the corner of Hillsborough Street and Enterprise Street, and I drove us home.

He generously prepared the grill, on which he cooked our teriyaki turkey burgers. We had baked French Fries and green beans with them.
It was all good.

We worked briefly on a back-issue Indy crossword puzzle, and left for Memorial Auditorium at close to 7:20.

We ran into Steve and Stephen just inside, and chatted for just a couple of minutes before all taking our seats, which were not close to each other.

The Lion King is such a magnificent play. I've seen it twice on Broadway, and now once as a road show. It's just an absolute "must see" if you never have.

We got home at about 11:15, and it was nice not to have to shower, as is usually the case coming back from dancing at Flex on a Wednesday night.
