A very brief love iFfair...

Robert served me breakfast in bed this morning - a cheese omelet and toast. Sweet! (and the breakfast, too!)

He headed back to Durham at around 11:00, I think, and I spent the morning, and up until about 3:30 filling up my iPod from my music collection, and then set off to the lake to enjoy.

The three-mile walk flew by as I listened to my music. I was blown away by the transformation of the walk with a symphony of music swimming all about my head. I thought, "I love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love this!"

I got so wrapped up in it, carried away really, beyond the music and into "life" - noticing how crystal clear things looked: the green on the trees, the lake as the sun dropped low in the sky, and even thought, "This thing is actually improving the quality of my life." Why had I waited so long to get one?

I enjoyed the walk so much that when I finished, I turned around, and started on a second lap, and thought, "This thing might even make me exercise more."

About a half-mile into this lap, I dropped my iPod on the asphalt. I picked it up, clicked Music > Genres > Classical > All. When I clicked on All, it suddenly rebooted, and then displayed:

Now it does all this clicking when I turn it on or try to access it from iTunes, rebooting does nothing, it won't reset, and I can't reinstall the software on it. I'm fairly certain the hard-drive is damaged. iDone. iFini. iKaput.

Joe and I had dinner at Rock-Ola at Mission Valley, and then stopped at Helios for coffee.

After that we went to Flex for the usual Sunday night antics.
