We had the RTA GLBT Leaders meeting today, and we watched the Ken and Beth dog and pony show. I hope they go right on with their bad selves. I enjoyed the bagel, though found it slightly annoying to not have plastic knives available. Have you ever spread cream cheese on a bagel with a fork? It's not optimal.

I was frantically doing homework right before class. I hadn't planned to write up the two examples I was bringing in, but did at the last minute. One was about the phone bill -- scanning, skimming, and jumping. The other was about the catalog example -- size matters, as well as perspective. :-)

Class was good, and we looked at some interesting web sites as poor examples of design, the most bizarre of which was http://www.pixyland.org/peterpan/. I was very surprised not to hear any gay-bashing comments while we viwed this page in class. The instructor actually said, "Really, the use of color is not bad at all."

Dancing was a blast as usual.
