I worked at Arboretum II today, in Ron W.'s office. I had lunch at the sub place in the area here.
Irene picked me up, and we met Andrew at a Mexican restaurant that makes huge burritos, a la Baja Burrito. There were several hot men there, a couple family, I'm sure.
Irene and I went to the Rainbow Cattle Company for the dance lessons, which started at 8:00. We got there at about 7:45, and shortly after, Casey arrived with his boyfriend, Benjamin. Cute, cute boys. Loved the stubble on Benjamin. They are so young.
The bartender was really nice there, had spent some time in Raleigh, and Irene chatted him up for a while.
We learned the dance called "the shuffle," which I kept calling "the hustle," and didn't care for very much. It's two to the left, two to the right, one to the left, one to the right, which is too close to the two-step, but different. It's one of those dances that I'll probably never do again, and if anyone saw me doing it, they'd think I just didn't know how to do the two-step.
I had a few two-step dances with Casey, which were just wonderful. It brought back memories of our time in L.A.
Irene left between 9:30 and 10, and I stayed. Turned out they had an amateur strip contest, with five contestants from the audience. Three were hot, and the one who one, I would have voted for myself.
I took a cab home, $7.75. The cabbie had to look up the address on the map. I gave him a $20 and told him to keep the change. He was stunned, and I felt good. I got home just after midnight, and tip-toed upstairs.
