I'm grateful to have enough—and a wide variety of—friends to be invited to three (Three, count 'em!) cookouts over the weekend, but disappointed in myself for overeating at all three.
I even had an "eating strategy" in mind—two hot dogs at the Saturday cookout, a hamburger at the Sunday cookout, and two hot dogs at the Monday cookout.

Well, I did eat only hot dogs at the Saturday cookout. Unfortunately I ate four of them—three on buns and one not.
At the Sunday cookout, I had one chourico hot dog, one Angus burger, and one chicken breast.
And at Monday's cookout? I had a big ole hamburger, and a hot dog.

On the plus side, I did get to the gym on Saturday and Monday.
Must get back on track with the eating this week. And, hopefully, start back on my 30-minutes-per-day walks.
