I got my MRI results and I have another meniscus tear, which means another round of arthroscopic surgery on this very same knee on which I had surgery on December 11, 2008.
Here's a picture of it three days after the surgery:
Even though it's not hugely painful, it's a huge pain—just being out of commission and then that dreadful physical therapy afterwards.
So much for my hopes and dreams to walk at least 30 minutes every day of 2012. Not a happy camper.
